If you’re looking for an opportunity to develop proficiency as well as solid safety habits with your firearm, this is a really good event for you.

Mojave Steel shoots four or five stages. Five Strings per stage. 

You may shoot more than one firearm. Cost is per firearm.   Many people shoot this match with 22LRs.

June – September

7 am Set up.  Please arrive for set up.  This is a volunteer match and we need your help with set up and tear down.

7:30 am Registration closes. If you have not arrived and signed in by 7:30 am, you will not shoot.

7:45 am Mandatory safety briefing.  You must attend the safety briefing or you will not shoot.

8 am Match begins

Tear down and clean up following match.  Usually ends by noon.

October – May

What to Bring

Pistol:  22LR, 9 mm, 38 SPL, 38 Super, 40 S&W, 45 ACP

Rifle: 22LR, 9 mm, 38 SPL, 40 S&W, 45 ACP

You may shoot more than one firearm; cost is per firearm.

If shot clean each stage is 25 shots. Bring 200 rounds and you should be fine.

You will need a belt, holster and 5 mags/speedloaders. 

Ear and eye protection for spectators as well as footwear that encloses the toes are mandatory (no sandals).

Apple Valley Gun Club is a cold range.  Firearms are to remain unloaded until the RSO instructs you to load and make ready. This includes CCW holders.
