3-Gun Match first Sunday of each month

This is a volunteer club and we put these matches on with a team effort.  Without your participation with stage setup and tear down, taping, resetting targets, and/or other tasks, you will not be able to participate in the event.  Set up begins at 7 am for the hot months of July, August & September, 8 am for the remaining months.  Sign up closes sharply after setup time.  Safety briefing will be done at the completion of set up and is also mandatory to participate in the event.  Bays 1-3 are used.  The event usually lasts for four hours after setup.

This is a fun match and new shooters are welcome.  We will help guide you thru your first match.  Shooters will use a semi-auto rifle, a pistol and a shotgun.  Matches generally involve three courses where the shooter must move through different stages and engage targets in a variety of different positions.  Each stage will generally require the use of different firearms and require the shooter to transition between them.  We recommend bringing a minimum of 100 rounds for Pistol & Rifle.  Shotgun: 50 birdshot #71/2 or 8’s, 10 slugs & 10 buckshot rounds.  No steel/bimetal core or steel shot is aloud.  Ear, eye protection and foot wear that encloses the toes are mandatory (no sandals).  Minimum equipment is: center fire pistol, holster, belt, magazines, pouches for mags & shells, rifle & shotgun.  Rifle & shotgun with chamber flags are mandatory.  Cross draw, inside the waist band and shoulder holsters are not permitted.

The targets might include clay pigeons, cardboard silhouettes, steel targets of varying sizes and anything else the match organizer designates as a target.  Distances of the targets might vary from 1 yard to 300 yards or anything in between.  The shooter with the fastest time & least amount penalties is the winner.

Members:  $10.00, Non-Members:  $15.00.  Juniors:  Free with paid parent.  A raffle is held after the completion of tear down.

Match Scores:  3 Gun scores are via https://practiscore.com/results/22107.  Upcoming match information will be available via e-mail if you sign up for it with the match director.
